KIRSTEN SLENNING - kirsten@tigermilkcollective.com

Kirsten Slenning is a theatre artist, actor, producer and sometimes teacher, she began studying acting at Gastown Actors' Studio and went on to complete her BFA in Theatre from Simon Fraser University. While at SFU she co-produced her first play, Sky by Connie Gault, in which she played the lead role of Blanche. Slenning went on to co-found TigerMilk Collective in 2006 with her SFU colleagues.  She has performed in Laurier directed by DD Kugler, a sixteen-character performance in Miranda Huba's Hospital City, Stupid Little Girls (co-writer and performer), Apparition by Anne Washburn, directed by Joanna Garfinkel; Exit Commander Kitty, directed by Lindsay Reoch, House of KOSA by Miranda Huba and directed by Olivia Delachanal. She co-created and performed You're Invited for the Progress Lab/ Cultural Olympiad event, HIVE 3, directed by Craig Hall. Aside from her work in Theatre, Slenning has worked on television and voice-over and played the lead in the short film Small Currents by Michael Springate, directed by Carolyn Combs. She is very excited to continue to broaden her experiences in both the worlds of the Theatre and Film.

Vancouver based actress, producer and artistic director; Lindsay has worked in theatre, film & television. She has extensive acting, voice and movement training with some of Vancouver’s top professionals.

Lindsay graduated from The School Of Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University with a BFA in Theatre and also earned a diploma in theatre from Capilano College. After working full time as Moon Stone Theatre Company’s Artistic Director she left to develop her own company. She is now Co-founder and Co-Artistic director of TigerMilk Collective. She currently studies with acting coach Andrew Mcllroy.

Some of Lindsay’s most recent theatre credits include The Cultch’s “Eco-Art & Science Symposium”, “Hive 3” co-production with Rumble Productions, Radix Theatre’s workshop “Beautiful Problems”, TigerMilk’s “House of KOSA”, “Bridge Mix Festival” presented by IT’SAZOO Productions and Boca del Lopa's "Dance Marathon. Some of her commercial credits and film credits include “Capilano Suspension Bridge”, “Urban Barn” and "Short Sight.  Lindsay just finished working on TLC's Untold Stories of the ER.
